Tá Aire na Gaeltachta,  Dara Calleary T.D. tar éis teagmháil a dhéanamh leis na Príomhoidí Gaelscoileanna sa chathair tráthnóna inné ag iarraidh réiteach a fháil ar cheist na gcúntóirí teanga agus an Plean Teanga do Chathair Chorcaí. Mar chomhartha dea-thoil, tá sé beartaithe againn an t-agóid a chur ar athló chun spás a thabhairt dúinn dul i mbun cainteanna leis agus le Roinn na Gaeltachta. The Minister for the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary T.D. contacted representatives of the Cork City Gaelscoil Principals yesterday evening seeking a meeting to resolve the issue of the Irish Language Assistants and the Irish Language Plan for Cork City. In light of this and as a gesture of goodwill, we have decided to postpone our protest in Galway to give us space to enter into talks with him and with the Dept of the Gaeltacht.
